Our Kindness Awards celebrate the individuals and organisations that make a meaningful difference in our community. Over the past 18 months, we have had the privilege of recognising community leaders, volunteers, groups and organisations whose kindness, dedication and service have helped support others and strengthen our local community.

These awards are our way of saying thank you and shining a light on people whose contributions may otherwise go unnoticed.

Kindness can take many forms. It might be supporting vulnerable people, bringing a community together, helping a neighbour, creating positive opportunities for others or consistently going above and beyond to make a difference. Every act of kindness matters, and recognition can help inspire more people to get involved.

We will continue adding stories and photographs of our award recipients to this page, creating a growing record of the people and organisations who help make our community a better place.

Supporting vulnerable people

Checking in on neighbours, offering practical help or simply being there when someone needs it.

Bringing people together

Creating friendships and understanding across faiths, cultures and generations.

Creating opportunities

Opening doors for young people, volunteers and others who want to take part.

Going above and beyond

Quietly and consistently giving time and care, often without any recognition.
